They then made me drink two quarts of some nasty shit and sent me off for a MRI, about 20 minutes later I was out cold on the operating table having my appendix removed, stomach cavity cleaned out, etc. At about the two week mark I woke up one day and the pain and sick feeling was unbearable so I went to the ER, they laid me on my back and a nurse slowly depressed my stomach cavity and then quickly released her hand allowing my stomach to snap back - the pain was unreal. Then over the next 2 weeks I began to get very ill, horrible sweating, chills, nausea and delirious. I recall when this happened, I woke up and the pain was gone. I honestly thought I had the mother of all stomach bugs as I had roving pain - after what the doctor estimated to be 12 weeks or so my appendix finally ruptured. This appendicitis went on for a number of months, all the while I felt sick but not too bad. I had appendicitis but unknown to me at the time I was 1 in 10 people whos appendix is inverted and on the other side of the intestine.
